What your money buys, and what it never risks
- Read-only, always. Stockveil can see balances and positions. It cannot place a trade, move money, or change anything at your broker — and it never sees your brokerage password.
- One account, one person. There is no shared tenant in the database. Nobody else's query can reach your holdings.
- Encrypted where it matters. AI keys and connection secrets are encrypted at rest, and dollar amounts are hidden by default so an open laptop doesn't leak your balances.
- Leaving is one click. Deletion is self-serve, immediate and permanent — no email, no retention call.
Questions about pricing
- What does Free actually include?
- The whole core product: unlimited holdings, one brokerage connection, the fund X-Ray, the portfolio grade, rebalancing and the projections. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Paid tiers gate the expensive parts — extra connections, deep analytics history, and research run on our AI keys instead of yours.
- What does "bring your own AI key" mean?
- The AI features run on your own account with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. You paste a key, you pick the model, and you pay that provider directly at their prices — we add no markup and never resell inference. Stockveil shows you the estimated cost of a research run before you start it. If you would rather not manage a key, that is what Pro and Max are for.
- When can I pay for Plus, Pro or Max?
- Not yet — and we would rather say so than take a card for something we cannot deliver today. The tiers above are what they will include when billing ships. Everyone using Stockveil before then keeps what they already rely on; a paywall should never take away something you use.
- Can Stockveil trade or move my money?
- No. Brokerage connections are read-only — Stockveil can see balances and positions and can never place a trade, transfer funds, or change anything at your broker. We also never see or store your brokerage password.
- Is my data safe, and can I delete it?
- Every account is single-user — there is no shared tenant and nobody else can query your holdings. API keys and connection secrets are encrypted at rest. Dollar amounts are hidden by default so an open laptop does not leak your balances. Deletion is self-serve, immediate and permanent, from Settings.
- Are the projections predictions?
- No, and we are careful about this. They are simulations: 10,000 possible futures built by replaying real historical years of your own funds, with the average anchored to published capital-market assumptions. There is no machine learning anywhere in them and the same inputs always give the same answer. The full method is on our methodology page.
